This hotel is a great choice to stay in Guanajuato. The location is quiet, yet a few minutes walk from everything you will want to see and do in Guanajuato. The places is kept very clean by Martín and little touches such as having water and coffee, as well as a fridge and an outdoor space for guests make it very comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend it and would stay here again. Great price-quality rapport, specially if you book directly.
This is a great homely and comfortable hotel. Martin is dedicated to making your trip enjoyable and worthwhile. The place is a slight hike from Centro but with that it's much quieter.

Very nice clean place to stay and close walking to everything, but nice and quite. And the host is very helpful and friendly.
Martin runs a great little guest house/hotel a quick five minute walk from Plaza Baratillo. The walk is all uphill or downhill, but it is quite scenic and fun. Martin is very patient with non-native speakers, speaking very slowly and he obviously enjoys sharing information about the area with visitors. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Fantastic value for independent travelers.
Beautiful gardens, room was pleasant clean and comfortable. Shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The balcony is covered and had a view of the courtyard and fountain. It was overall a pleasant stay. The owner is very accommodating and helpful and treated us like friends and family. It's nice to have a shared refrigerator in the lobby area and both cold and hot water fot drinking available. Location is fine for me, about a 10 minute walk to Centro la Paz area.
Owner was very professional, caring. He gave us a neighborhood tour and provided ice when requested.
La habitación muy bonita, es bueno que los baños estén separados, se agradece la silla en el baño. Y si efectivamente la amabilidad, apoyo y atención del señor Martin es excelente. Si está cerca del centro cinco o diez minutos. Hice mucho cardio de tanto subir escalones, pero volvería a elegirlo.
